You just answer these three questions:
What did you finish reading?
What are you currently reading?
What are you planning to read next?
Reading has been a bit slow due to my current boredom with young adult books and the horrific scene I witnessed at the air show this past Saturday. I'm a bit behind, but hopefully, one day I can catch up? We shall see!
What did I finish reading?
Well, this book was quite the original! I've never read a book about becoming smoke, stars and dragons before, and although the concept was a bit out of this world for me, it still held my interest! Next, I'll be reading the Deepest Night for review!
EDIT! I just finished (at 3:58am) this book & it's wonderful! I'm not sure if I'll do a full review or not.
What am I currently reading?
27% done. I stopped this book to read The Archived because this book was going nowhere fast. So far it's just some people sending letters back and forth about their mundane lives. But I got it for review, so of course I'm going to finish it (eventually) and move on.
13% through. I received this audiobook back in March (oops!) for review from E. I'll admit, although I absolutely love Hemingway's novels, I've been avoiding them since my own father died in such a similar way as the author, so you can imagine how I wasn't so into reading about the actual man himself. So far, I'm not too sure what to make of it, since Hemingway's married, yet this girl "Mariella" is all in love and wants to get cozy with him, so I don't know.
What do I plan to read next?
And The Mountains Echoed by Khaled Hosseini
I REALLY need a break from Young Adult novels... like REALLY. Like I need to just put them all away for a good year I've become so sick of them :( SO I'm hoping my latest library catch will save me from despising the YA genre altogether. I hear it's quite good!
For review. Yes, I know it's a young adult book, but like I've said... it's for review, but I liked the first book so I really don't mind. I'm looking forward to seeing the continuation. It's also (I think) my last YA genre book for review that I have so far, so there's that :)
