What did I finish reading?
It was a great thriller as we followed Casey Sullivan around to figure out what really happened in the catastrophe of the Norton airliner.
Samurai Summer by Ã…ke Edwardson 3/5 (review)
A weird, possibly imaginary children's tale of a summer camp.
New, fresh and unique dystopian book! I loved the different complications and trifles that Olivia tries to overcome. Definitely worth the read!
The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey 4/5
Once I forgot the over excessive marketing that claimed how great the book is suppose to be, my anger subsided. With this book, I learned not to trust a book's marketing again, because there really wasn't anything great about this book. It helped that everything took place where I live, so I could relate towards the locations. It was ordinary, but in the end I have to say it was a good ordinary.
What am I currently reading?
I'm 21% through. I'm so glad I found this ARC because it is soooo good! I love a good mystery, and this is bringing about an essence of Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None to a modern era. It's also reminiscent of Clue and Ellery Queen which makes it all the more better. I don't think the butler did it, so far, because he's just as flustered as the guests in this situation, but then again, you never know. I'm keeping notes on everyone so I can see if I can find out whodunnit :) I can't wait for the television show!
I haven't actually opened the book yet, but it's due very soon, so I'm hoping once I open it up (today) I can finish it in a day. I've heard it's good, so fingers crossed!
What will I read next?
Library Books and ARC's!!
I'll pick one of my many library books (not sure which one yet) & I'll read some ARC's
I liked Love in Disguise, so I'm sure I'll like this as well. I love a good mystery, and a hint of historical fiction and romance doesn't hurt either!
Letters from Skye by Jessica Brockmole
The cover and the historical fiction summary really snagged me! I'll be reading this before it's published in early July.
