2013 Reading Resolution

We always make resolutions and hope that the next year will be kinder to us than the past year, so how about a reading resolution to hope that the next year will be more enlightening than the previous as well?

Introducing my Reading Resolution! I will challenge myself with new and interesting ways to heighten my love of reading and to stay in an organized mind.

Challenges:

Military Brat Challenge
-Each month, read at least one book written about/in states or countries I've lived in.

Charles Dickens Challenge
-Read a Charles Dickens Novel every other month.

Edgar Alan Poe Challenge
-Read an Edgar Alan Poe Story every other month (excluding poems.)

Agatha Christie Challenge
-Read an Agatha Christie Mystery once (1) a month (may include re-reads.)

Harry Potter Challenge
-Read a Harry Potter Book every other month.

Book to Movie Challenge
-Read a book that has been made into a movie once (1) a month.

100 book challenge
-Read a 100 books in the year 2013 (Yep! I'm sticking with the same challenge I had this year.)

I have also decided to take on the task of doing movie reviews every now and again, mostly  for those movies that have been adapted from a book in one form or another. Should be fun! I wouldn't mind any other recommendations for challenges and other things to add to my Reading Resolution, so don't be shy!
