Day one was a surprise. I began at about 12:30am and got to 1670 words at 3:30am, in which I figured I'd stop for the day. I haven't slept all day, as it was a day of errands (including finding birthday presents for my little brother) and spending way too much time in waiting rooms. Throughout the day I was able to carry my notebook around with me, and whenever given the chance, I'd write a little more down to be typed later. Also, in a haste last minute flourish I got a kitten! Named after my idol, Lucy is a grey and white American Shorthair (or so the Humane Society and Petsmart says) is spayed, and seems a little too rambunctious for me. She totally fooled me, first by being asleep at the store, and then again at home by being the most scared little creature I've ever seen. She apparently got over her nerves. So I'm thinking I may do some sort of trade at the Humane Society tomorrow. Starburst, renamed Lucy by me, belongs to a family who can keep up with her and her amazing flying kitten abilities. I'd be content with a lazy cat.
Well, I'm off now to type up some more. Wish me (and little Lucy) Luck!
