I'm Making a Hollow (secret) Book!

My 1st time of intentionally "destroying" a book. I'm making a hollowed book using a book that I bought from amazon for 1$ over the xmas holidays. Don't worry I'm cutting it so the other pages can still be read, and even used if I ever need book pages for anything :)
Basic Steps:
  1. Find a cheap hardback book
  2. Mix up some Elmer's glue and water (I used an unused pill bottle)
  3. Find the page you want the hollowed part to start & turn to the next page.
  4. With a brush, hold the pages for the rest of the book down and brush the glue mix around the three edges of the book until well saturated.
  5. Slip a scrap piece of paper (or anything you can find) in between the glued and unglued page as you place a heavy object on & wait for the edges to dry in place (around 15-30 min.)
  6. Open to the first glued page and measure whatever widths you wan to use around the four sides of the page. Use pencil to mark.
  7. Using a straightedge and an x-acto/craft/box knife, start cutting in your book.
  8. When done, use the remainder of the glue mixture around the inside of the cutout and on top of the first pre-glued page.
  9. Without using a scrap piece of paper, place a heavy object on your book as it dries again. (15-30 min.)
  10. Open book and with the Original first page, now glued to cover the insert, and use your knife to cut the insert open on that page. This makes the insert look cleaner.
  11.  You can use any excess glue around the edges of the book again if you like.
