I'm currently towards the middle of Rose Madder by Steven King. The story is a bit slow in developing, and it's getting so that I may be able to predict the outcome of the plot. It is still intriguing and is doing a good job at keeping my interest, so of course I will continue on with it. Another book I'm currently reading is Peril by Ruby Barnes, which started off a little slow as well, but I believe it's getting to the point of suspense and I'm easily going through chapter after chapter to see what happens next. Both books are thrillers by the way, so perhaps that's how it's supposed to be structured.
On my 'to read' list I have the rest of my library books, but I also have some e-books that I have on request at my local library's ebook site.
On my request list I have Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L. James, Unearthly by Cynthia Hand (you may remember I recently checked out Hallowed by Cynthia Hand, but as I did not know it was book two in a series at the time, I'd like to read the first in the series, first.) I've also requested the 4 book bundle of George R.R. Martin's series A Song of Ice and Fire so I can go ahead and get to A Storm of Swords and A Feast of Crows (they didn't have the books individually in ebook format) and I've requested Divergent by Veronica Roth.
I only hope that my requests don't all come to me at the same time.
That would be a stressful bookish nightmare!
